First Bad Boys and now this! It's been over two years since Jackie Chan had confirmed that a new Rush Hour movie was in the works but now Chris Tucker has taken to social media to back those claims and the internet is loving it!
In honor of Jackie Chan‘s 65th birthday on Sunday, his longtime friend and costar Chris Tucker posted a series of photos on Instagram — and one was a total tease.
The photo showed Tucker and Chan posing together, each holding up four fingers, once again hinting at the possibility of another sequel to the classic movie series, Rush Hour.
12 years later, fans are still patiently waiting for the next sequel to be officially announced after years of rumors.
In late January, Tucker revealed that Rush Hour 4 was in the works.
“It’s not in pre-production. We’re working on a few things [for] the script. Jackie wants to do it. I want to do it. The studio wants to do it,” he said on the Winging It podcast, hosted by NBA stars Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore, according to Ebony.com.
“We’re trying to get it together. It looks like it’s getting together right,” Tucker said.
Rush Hour has become a staple in action movie history spawning two sequels with more quoted and hilarious lines than you can shake a stick at. So its no surprised that fans are still excited to see the duo come back to the big screen again!
