'Sectaurs' Are Being Resurrected By The Nacelle Company!

I'm telling you all, The Nacelle Company is out here bring back the nostalgic Retro feeling HEAVY!! The studio behind Netflix's "The Toys That Made Us" and "A Toy Store Near You" is bringing back the 1980s “insect-evolved humanoid” Sectaurs.

I remember seeing one of these. Under the new deal, The Nacelle Co. will leverage its new toy division to create a new line of action figures and launch a consumer products program alongside a new Sectaurs animated series that is currently in development.

“Distant planets, mutant humanoid insects, and an Evil Empress? Where do I sign up?! That all said, we’re incredibly excited to introduce Sectaurs to a new generation of fans while honoring the legacy of the original,”

Says Brian Volk-Weiss, CEO, The Nacelle Co.

I've had the pleasure of running across one of these figures a while back. A friend of mine who was a HUGE toy head had one of these in the attic. (where he kept his collection) At first I thought he had a baby raccoon living up there, come to find out it was a original Sectaurs Toy. I thought it was the weirdest coolest toy.

The Sectaurs brand was created by Maureen Trotto, Tim Clarke, and Lawrence Mass, the trio behind the 1980s Mattel hit Boglins. In 1985, Coleco introduced the “Warriors of Symbion” into toy stores amid the craze of action brands led by Masters of the Universe, Transformers, and G.I. Joe. Sectaurs toys were supported by an animated series and an 8-issue comic book series published by Marvel. Sectaurs have been forgotten for a while now but with the nostalgia craze that has been happening interest in the brand has grown over the past decade.

I cant wait to see The Nacelle Co. bring these figures back and learn more about these "insect-evolved humanoids".

Nacelle Toys’ first wave of Robo Force action figures is set to go up for preorder beginning April 22 at nacellestore.com.
